Enamel Hypoplasia
This picture
is a classic example of enamel hypoplasia. Note the dark, depressed
area along the tooth. These areas are sensitive because of the loss
of the enamel covering. This is the same tooth after the composite
filling material has been applied. This will also alleviate the sensitivity.
Above is enamel hypoplasia that has been restored.
